Dance, Movement & Meditation: Grades K-5
The Art Education Department is working in conjunction with the Office of
School Climate on the implementation of strategies that involve a dance,
movement, and meditation component. These would be used during times
deemed appropriate by the teacher and only take a up to 5 minutes per day

Musical Theater: Grades 6-8
The Art Education Department is working with Theater of Youth, Raices Theater
and Ujima Theater Company to implement one 6th/7th/8th grade musical per school this year.

Technology in Innovative Art Specialty Programs: Grades 9-12
- Fashion Arts & Design Studies (FADS) program @ South Park High School: sewing machines, 3D printer, iPads/laptops, poster maker, digital drawing tablet
- Architecture & Design Academy (ADA) program @ International Prep: 3D printer, iPads/iMac laptops, poster maker, digital drawing tablet
- Media Arts & Film Academy (MAFA) program at Lafayette High School: iPads/iMac laptops, poster maker, digital cameras
