Amistad Interactive Curriculum Resource
The Amistad Interactive Curriculum provides a compendium of resources, organized by time period, from Ancient African civilizations to the present day. These culturally responsive resources focus on the histories, contributions, and experiences of Africans, African Americans, Latinx, and Native Americans. It is highly encouraged that these resources are infused into the current curriculum to provide students with multiple perspectives and connections to their own race, ethnic, and cultural identities. Examples of the types of resources available include: primary source documents, photographs and visuals, videos (griots), literary texts, and skits.
