• Spectrum Internet Assist Program

The Buffalo Public School District is committed to providing Internet access to all of our student households. The District recognizes there is an 86% poverty rate in the BPS community and there are thousands of households with extenuating circumstances and cases of extreme need. In support of the Education Bargain, the Buffalo Public School District participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), making all students in our school system eligible for the federal lunch program, regardless of household income.

By virtue of this statement, all BPS student households may qualify for a substantially discounted rate for Internet access as part of the Spectrum Internet Assist Program.

Additionally, BPS student households signing up as new subscribers may also qualify for 60 days of free Internet access.  Those with previous outstanding balances  should call 1-844-488-8395.  Please note, you must call Spectrum and cancel the service prior to the 60 days to avoid being charged for service beyond the 60 days.  If you do not call and cancel, you will be charged for service beyond 60 days.

These Spectrum programs support our Learning from Home initiative and help bridge the digital divide within our BPS community.
