The purpose of the MBK Fellows Grant is to provide 11th grade high school students, with an emphasis on boys and young men of color, with opportunities to gain authentic leadership experience(s) and develop service projects beneficial to the schools they attend and the communities they live in.

Mastermind Book Series
MBK Fellows and their mentors participate via conference call in book studies and discussion throughout the school year, with Dr. Anael Alston and the NYSED team. Each week, MBK Fellows share meaningful aspects of the book and how they are applying these tools in their everyday life.
