Ms. Maria Lisa Spaulding

I have been a teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools for many years.  Before that I was an archaeologist, conducting excavations in Labrador, Canada, New England, New Jersey and western New York.  I love to travel.  One of my most exciting trips was to Egypt.  I have twin daughters, one of whom married an Egyptian.  My son-in-law was our tour guide and I visited many archaelogical sites that I had only read about in books.  It was an amazing trip!! I like to use my archaeological and anthropological training to make my Global lessons more exciting.
