Mrs. Galvan

Hello! I am Mrs. Galvan and I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS) at Harvey Austin PS 97. This is my fourth year at Harvey Austin and sixth year in the Buffalo Public School District. I graduated from SUNY Buffalo State and am certified in Elementary Education, Special Education, and FACS. 

Family and Consumer Sciences is an academic course offered in middle school concerning consumer science, money management, nutrition, cooking, parenting, personal environment, clothing management, and career planning as related to home management. This hands-on course bridges the core academics into real world situations.
