Welcome to Junior High!  My name is Mrs. Bernecki and I am the 7th/8th grade co-teacher for Science and Math The upcoming school year will be my 20th year teaching.  I have taught in Rochester; Cheektowaga; Raleigh, North Carolina; and Buffalo.  I have taught all grades from 1st through 8th.  This will be my 9th year at Harvey Austin where I have taught 1st, 4th, 7th, and 8th grade and probably some of you. I also may have taught some of your older siblings before they moved on to High School.  

I have been married for 16 years and have two children, Isabella and Gehrig. Isabella will be in 8th grade just like many of you and Gehrig will be in 1st grade this year. I also have 4 cats, (yes 4!) Shoeless Joe Jackson, Gizmo, Hermione, and Sweet Caroline and one dog, Finnegan. I look forward to working with you and helping you be success during your Junior High years!!!
