Requesting a New Course
Steps for approval
- Prior to submitting any documentation
- Building Principal meets with the Director or Supervisor to discuss the need.
- 1. New Course Initial Proposal
- Curriculum Director or Supervisor and/or Principal completes the New Course Initial Proposal form and submits it.
- Curriculum work should not start until this document is approved.
- Once approved, a curriculum team can start to develop the course and complete all the documents that are requested on the Formal Course Request.
- 2. Formal Course Request
- This document will be submitted along with all the required documents.
- 3. Communication with Infinite Campus
- Once the Formal Course Request is approved by the Chief Academic Officer, the required information will be shared with Infinite Campus Second Level Support and the course will be added to the district Master Catalog.
