North Park Academy #50 got into the Halloween spirit this weekend with their Saturday Academy activites.  Attendees even got the chance to make floral witch brooms with Elle James.

Hamlin Park #74 students got a big surprise when Bills' Von Miller and Dion Dawkins stopped by.  In partnership with Wegmans, Miller and Dawkins took the time to discuss healthy living and the importance of staying active.

In response to the needs of our families and community members, the Bennett Campus Parent Center partnered with Deaf Access Services (DAS) for two 5-week sessions of introductory American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Culture classes.
Participants of all ages have been engaging in learning a valuable way to communicate and promote inclusion both in and out of school.

During their October 22nd Saturday Academy, Riverside High School #208 took full advantage of the beautiful weather by having attendees fish at Black Rock Canal Park.  This was planned in partnership with the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at the building.

Saturday Academies kicked off for the 22-23 school year on October 15th! Thank you to everyone who came out and made the day so special. We hope you had as much fun as we did.  A special thank you goes to Lovejoy District Council Member Bryan Bollman for stopping by Lovejoy Discovery School #43.
