My name is Maceo Skinner, and I am happy to return to School 32 (Bennett Park Montessori), 97 (Harvey Austin), and 69 (Houghton Academy).

I am from Buffalo New York where I attended PS #6 (Academic Challenge Center), now known as Buffalo Elementary School of Technology. I attended Buffalo Traditional high school. I received Bachelor's Degrees in Applied Trombone, Music Education, and Audio Production from the State University of New York at Fredonia, and my Masters in Special Education from the Sate University of New York College at Buffalo.

I am certified to teach General music and Instrumental music k-12, and Special Education k-21. This will be my 23rd year teaching in the Buffalo District. 

 Personally, my hobbies are also a great joy to me. Gardening, music orchestration, and preforming/directing a local big band (The Larry Salter Soul Orchestra).

It has always been my focus to enlighten young minds to an appriciation of music in all forms. I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!!
