Welcome to the Buffalo Public Schools High School Application Process for the 2022-2023 School Year
Buffalo Public Schools is home to 18 high schools that offer a wide variety of innovative programs to meet the academic interests of students. We want all of our students to attend a school that best fits their needs and long-range goals. Families have the option to apply to a career technical (CTE), general education, or a specialized program.
Steps to the High School Choice Application Process
Important! Please read each step of the Application Process. Review "Step 1" before completing "Step 2"
Learn about BPS High Schools & Programs
In this section you will find the following:
- Schools and program codes to which your child is eligible to apply
- Schools' addresses
- Schools' start and end times
- Requirements
Application Tip: Write down your school choices and program codes in order of preference on a sheet of paper. You will need this information for Step 2.

BPS Students and New or returning students to the district.
Please note: The on-time application window for submitting the application is December 8, 2021 to February 18, 2022.
