At NPCS, not only do parents enjoy to maintain strong communication with the school, they also value communication with each other. As a way to assist with parents communicating with each other, we have a form available (links by grade level below) for parents to complete. There are options within the form that allow you to select if you would like your information shared with other NPCS parents (directory), Homeroom Representative (parent lead for classroom), and the PTO (PTO President). There is a list below that will help you to navigate understanding how each selection would use your contact information.
1. Homeroom Parents - this will be the Representative and Alternate parent of your child's classroom (or grade level) who will have your contact information (it will not be shared with others in the class, unless you select the directory option). Your contact information will be used when the HR Parent Representative is communicating reminders, setting up a sign-up for classroom materials for events, helping to organize classroom celebrations, snack calendar, and any other way the teachers and parents can work together to support our students.
2. PTO - the PTO shares updates about fundraisers, meetings, volunteers, and expenses via email. This will help you stay informed.
3. Classroom directory - The directory will house parent contact information and a copy will be sent home ONLY to families who select to have their information shared. The directory will allow families to connect with each other outside of school.
