• Dear Students and Families,

My name is Breonna Foster and I am entering my third year at School #19. I  am looking forward  to welcoming you to an exciting 2022-23 school year!I am looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure that your children can achieve their highest potential. I recognize that in order to be successful in school, children need support from both the home and school. I know that a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for your children’s success and I would like you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities at School #19.

I ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that they:

    1. Attend school daily and arrive on time, ready for the day’s learning experience.

    2. Check Schoology, Parent Portal, Class Dojo and their daily planners daily to keep track of their classes and assignments.

    3. Complete all assignments given by teachers to the best of their ability.

    4. Share school experiences with you so that you are aware of their school life.

    5. Inform me if they need additional support in any area or subject.

    6. Know that you expect them to succeed with my help!

**I’d like to connect with you on Class Dojo, where you will be able to track your child’s classroom behaviors, and also be able to easily reach out to me! :)

While we are working together in the classroom and beyond, I have the following guidelines for success:

    1. Be responsible.

    2. Always try.

    3. Do your best.

    4. Cooperate with others.

    5. Treat everyone (including yourself) with respect.

In our first days together we will discuss what these guidelines look like in our classroom. I feel privileged to work with your child this year and I thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you soon!

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Foster
