Principal Mr. Gregory A. Lodinsky began his career as a special education teacher before becoming an assistant principal at da Vinci in 2012, he was appointed principal in 2016 and has been proud of the many honors and recognitions da Vinci has earned since his appointment. He is most proud of the designation of da Vinci as a Blue Ribbon School awardee from the United States Education Department, the first Buffalo High School to earn that designation in 30 years.
“Attention to detail, focusing on instruction and forming partnerships with parents, students, teachers and staff are the key to a successful, vibrant educational community” says Mr. Lodinsky “our inclusive, embracing and open community allows our students to discover and develop who they are in a setting of peace, acceptance and pride”
Mr. Lodinsky considers it an honor to lead the da Vinci school community “my appointment as principal at da Vinci is the most fulfilling and energizing position in my career, and I never forget my good fortune”
Mr. Lodinsky, is a life – long native western New Yorker, growing up in Buffalo, Tonawanda and Williamsville, he is now a resident of the City of Buffalo and enjoys seeing his students during his ‘after – hours’ at their jobs at Wegman’s, McDonalds or at the Tim Horton’s drive thru!
