Welcome! I am the building Reading Teacher, and I support students in developing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. While I have only been in this building since September, I have been a teacher for many years and have experience with students of all ages. My favorite hobbies are reading and writing, and my passion is to help inspire a love of literacy within students. Learning to read is a process and it starts with language development. Strong readers can become strong writers. 

My favorite books are: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Harry Potter by JK Rowling, Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters by John Steptoe, The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle, and The Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank.
