A Letter from Mr. Lee.

Dear Grabiarz Family,

It seems like just yesterday when I was appointed principal at Grabiarz. I started as a wide-eyed eager individual ready to make the greatest impact on all the lives of every Grabiarz student. Over the last 6 years we have embraced the mantra of “Excellence begins at Grabiarz” day in and day out. Together we have gone through so much that made us stronger like cyberattacks, remote learning, an international pandemic, and more. However, let’s not forget the lasting memories created through Fall Family Fun Nights, Multicultural week and night, throwing pies at the admin team, and more. I just cannot believe that I have watched so many students transition from small little folks to young adults.

My experience at Grabiarz has been more than amazing. I have not only grown professionally as an administrator, but I have also made numerous and valuable lasting relationships with many stakeholders, teachers, students, parents, staff, community members, and more. Having worked at Grabiarz the longest in my working career, I truly feel that we have become a family. As great as things have been for me, it is bittersweet to share that I will soon be leaving Grabiarz. My last day as principal of the true School of Excellence will be on Friday, January 13th.

The decision to leave was very difficult to make. However, there is some excitement in starting a new journey in my life. I want to thank everyone in the Grabiarz family because whether you know it or not, you have had an impact on my personal and professional growth.

Please know that you all will be greatly missed. Continue to be great and do great things and never forget that excellence begins at Grabiarz!
