I'm very excited that you stopped by my page!  I'm the Vocal Music Teacher at School #59 for grades 3-8th, and I'm happy to welcome your child into music class this year!  I have positive expectations for our students' success as we grow in a Virtual learning environment.  

My goal is to make the website not just a tool for me as the teacher to connect with parents, but also a learning tool and resource for the students.

*Important Changes!!! Every student in grades 3-8th, must have a notebook which will be kept at home.*

On a weekly basis, students will learn vocabulary, sing, dance, listen to, perform, and respond to works of art from many different genres.  They will also participate in online performances if possible. 

All work will be graded.  If an assignment is missed because of absence, please contact me as soon as possible.

Homework! Yes, there will be assignments given outside of school.  Students will be asked to respond to works of art, do research, projects, conduct interviews, and complete Listening logs.  Homework will also be graded.
