    The Forensic Technology program is designed for students with an interest in forensics, law enforcement and similar fields. The intersection of science and law provides new tools for discovering the truth. This introductory course is an overview of law and forensic science. Students will receive training in policing, corrections, crime scene investigation and other specialties. They will have direct contact with law enforcement professionals and college professors. Students will be prepared for entry level employment or to continue their law enforcement training upon graduation.

    Forensic Technology students learn the science used in forensic science techniques. They learn how to collect and analyze various types of evidence. Areas of study are introduced using scenarios from popular news media. The hands-on labs analyze the duties of a professional forensic scientist and teach them to work collaboratively in solving problems.
