Who Are Closing the Gap Partners?
Closing the Gap partners include United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, Buffalo Public School District, Erie County Department of Mental Health, Erie County Department of Social Services, Kaleida Health System, Catholic Health System and Catholic Charities. Each partner contributes valuable expertise and resources. In addition to funding, partners provide critical guidance and oversight as members of the Leadership Team, ensuring that the efforts of each partner are integrated with one another and are measured with agreed upon standards.
In addition, multiple health and human service providers work with Site Facilitators to coordinate services for children and their families. Current providers include ABC Program (University at Buffalo, Center for Children and Families), Erie County Family Court (Attendance Court), Big Brother/Big Sister, Boys and Girls Club, Child & Adolescent Treatment Services, Child & Family Services, EPIC (Every Person Influences Children), Joan A. Male Family Support Center, Independent Health Foundation, Kaleida School-Based Health Clinic, Life Transitions Center, New Directions, Mid-Erie Treatment Services, Prevention Focus, Sister's School-Based Health Clinic, and Western New York United.
