The Buffalo Sabres have announced that they have teamed up with Perry’s Ice Cream for the sixth annual Shoot! Score! Read More! program. The program is designed to visit various elementary schools across Western New York to promote and encourage good reading habits among first, second, and third grade students.

One Sabres player will visit each school, along with Sabretooth to read a book. Three students from each selected school will be recognized for their excellence in reading. Those recognized students will receive a special autograph from the player visiting their school, while having the opportunity to assist the player in reading to their classmates.
    • Schools will be selected to participate in the program by the number of minutes read!
    • Each Hillery Park student is asked to read (or be read to) 15 minutes each night
    • Hillery Park Parents sign the reading log each night
    • Hillery Park Students return the reading log to their teacher each week.
