Parents and students: Please join us this Saturday November 10^th from 10am to 1pm for the following great programs/ activities:

Program/ Activities:

• BPS Pre- K Department – Raising a Reader- Learn meaningful ways to begin early reading practices as your children simultaneously sing, paint, and dance their way through class.  Materials and gifts are provided at each session.  Parents must pre-register by calling 716.816.4689 or emailing ayoung@buffaloschools.org.
• BPS Guidance Department- Prepping for High School: For Middle School Families- Learn expectations to prepare for and select the best high school for your child.
• Our very own Principal Perez-will meet with parents to speak about PS 30 Receivership Status
• 4^th Annual WNY Children’s Book Expo- transportation will be available to take students and their parent(s) to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center to take part in all of the wonderful activities scheduled for the day. Buses will be leaving at 10am Saturday morning November 10^th and breakfast will be served starting at 9:30am for families attending the trip.  Please note that a parent must be present in order for students to board the bus.
• PS 30 Book Fair
• Grassroots-Canning Salsa- Learn how to keep the garden harvest by canning homemade salsa.

Additional activities include: The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, Girl Scouts, Create A Mini Book, Raices Theatre, Swimming, Arts and Crafts, and much, much more.  Don’t forget we also provide Free Breakfast and Free Lunch.

I just wanted to send along a “Huge” Thank You to everyone who helped plan, volunteered, worked, donated and attended this weekend Saturday Academy.

We had 285 participants join us this weekend not including staff and vendors. Go Dragons!!! 🐉

Special thanks to Mr. Hann and all of the Fall Fest committee members that collaborated to have Fall Fest during Saturday Academy hours this weekend. You guys Rock!!!

Our next Saturday Academy is October 27th and our theme is Dads “Most Wanted SuperHero”.
