The Art classroom provides an exciting hands-on approach for making connections between the visual arts and other curriculum areas. The Art Program focuses on building Art knowledge, artistic techniques, fine motor skills, and confidence through exploration of a wide variety of media, including:

Drawing in pencil, pen and ink, pastel, oil pastels

Painting in watercolor, tempera, and acrylic                               

Linoleum block printing

Calligraphy, paper mache, and pottery
