    Hi! Welcome to Ms. Rio's Dual Language Immersion Pre-K!   My goals as a teacher have always been to create a safe and fun environment for learning, and to help foster a deep rooted, long-lasting love of learning in every child.  

    I am thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to be your child's first teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools!  I am also ecstatic that class will be IN-PERSON, albeit modified as we strive to provide a safe learning environment for all.  Despite the fact that visitors are not allowed in the building at this time, I am committed to finding new and creative ways to involve parents and families in our classroom this school year because I truly believe in the African proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child."   

     

    I encourage and welcome parent feedback, ideas, and suggestions!  This is my first year teaching PreK, though I have six years experience in Kindergarten, and eleven in 3rd grade.  Cheers to new adventures for us all!
