    About Me!

My name is Christine Martin, and I am working in 7th and 8th grade as the integrated co-teacher for Math and Science. I am very excited to have the opportunity to be learning and growing with everyone this year! I will be working closely with Mrs. Holzman and Mrs. Woods to try to help you to do your best in your classes, as well as to pass the state exams at the end of the year.

Since I am the integrated co-teacher in the classroom, I will be in both math and science classes, supporting what the regular class is teaching. This may look different in the different classes. Sometimes I will be teaching or working with a small group, and other times I will be walking around the room, assisting the students as needed.

I have had quite a bit of experience in working with students. I attended Canisius College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, and later attended Medaille College and earned my Masters of Science in Literacy. I was a substitute teacher for two years in both the West Seneca and Williamsville school districts. After, I began working at Buffalo United Charter School as a special education teacher. I taught there for nine years, but decided that it would be useful if I brought all of the things I have learned throughout these years to the Buffalo Public Schools. I am very excited to be part of a school where I feel like I can really make a difference in the lives of children. I look forward to working with you throughout the year as a team!

If you need to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns, please call the school or email me at I look forward to working with you.
