Discovery School Swim Team

The Discovery School Swim Team finished their season at the end of March with many accomplishments to share.

Our 5^th and 6^th graders results:

Girls Medley Relay of Morgan Cheman (6), Angelina Drago (6), Grace Rivera (5), and Erin Ormond finished 6^th.

Erin Ormond finished 4^th in the IM

In the 25 Freestyle Bridget Dorgherty(6) took 6^th,  Helena Michels (5) 5^th place, Abby Mailloux(6) took 1^st overall for the girls.  And Ethank Kane (6) took 6^th, Jack Harrington (6) 5^th, and Luke Soto (6) 4^th for the boys.

In the 25 Breaststroke our results were:

Helena Michels 5^th, Abby Mailloux 34^th and Madelyn Hart (6) 3^rd.

Jack Harrington 5^th, Luke Soto 4th

100 Free Relay

5^th place – Lillian Gangloff (5), Yasmina Ahmed (5), Kaylee Locke (5), Gabby Juliano (6)

1^st Place – Helena Michels, Bridget Dorgherty, Abby Mailloux, Madelyn Hart

We were missing 5^th grader Nathan Miley at the championship.

Results for the 7/8 graders:

Medley Relay team of Madison Michels(7), Shelby Brown (8), Angela Forcucci (7), Kyra Soto (7) took 1^st place.

200 Free and 50 Butterfly

1^st- Angela Forcucci in both events

2^nd Kyra Soto

1^st Shelby Brown

Anthony Truilizio(7) from Lorraine Academy joined our team this year and took 1^st for the boys in the 30 and 100 free.

We had an amazing season because these athletes were dedicated, hardworking, and coachable.  Thank you to all of our parents and fans that supported us throughout the season.
