Mr. Uhteg Physical Education

Welcome to Mr. Uhteg's wonderful world of sports home page. Houghton Academy has sports teams in Cross Country track, basketball, volleyball and track and field. Intramurals is also offered before school or after school as a way of getting our students to exercise on a regular basis.

Safety is my major and most important rule in the gym. All rules are posted in the gym for all students to view. Sneakers are a must for physical education class. Gum is NEVER allowed at any time in the gym.

Physical Education grades are earned by the students. Playing safe, Sportsmanship, effort, getting along with others, being prepared and following directions are all part of being a well rounded physical education student
