Hello and welcome to the website. I appreciate you taking the time and effort into coming to this website.  I teach the 4th grade at Herman Badillo Biliginual Academy.  In my class, we go through the curriculum provided by New York State and the Buffalo Public Schools for Mathematics.  We have a very diverse school and to make accomidations for each learner our classes differentiate based on language and NYSESLAT.

Our Math Program is a very strong program through engageNY that is a series of lesson modules that are aligned to the Common Core Standards.  Students will gain a better understanding of mathematics as they solve problems, reason mathematically, prove mathematical relationships, participate in mathematical discourse, make mathematical connections, and model and represent mathematical ideas in a variety of ways.
