      The mission of Early childhood Center School # 61 is to provide student centered instruction to improve academic performance in the area of literacy.  This will enable all students to become proficient readers, writers, listeners and speakers.  To insure student success, a safe and orderly environment will be provided which fosters responsibility and respect for self and others.

      In the area of Physical Education I belive that all children deserve the chance to learn through movement in the least restrictive environment.  My students will have the opportunity to learn activities that will teach fundamental locomotor movements all the way till learning life time activities.  I follow NYS standards and I make sure the State of New York curriculum is implemented. My students will participate in physical activities that are educational and fun. Every student is a individual and students lean differently.  My Physical Education classes they are no exception and every child will learn the importance of Physical Education through movement and fitness and how that equals a healthy life style.
