    Welcome to Mrs. Steinborn's web page. 
     

    My name is Mrs. Gretchen Steinborn.  I will be your child’s kindergarten teacher at Harvey Austin Elementary School #97.  This is my 17th year as an elementary teacher.  I have worked in the city of Buffalo for 14 years and joined the Buffalo Public School system in 2014.  I have taught Pre-K, 1st, 2nd and 4th grade along with being a Math support teacher for kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade.  I also attended Buffalo Public schools from K-12 myself.

    I wanted you as a parent to know this information to understand that my goal is not only to teach your child to read, write and mathematics but to also love to learn.  Life is about the choices that you make and you are in charge of your future.
