    Dear Parents/Guardians,

    Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!

    I am committed to making this year one of excitement, growth, and opportunity, both academically and socially, as we dive deeper into the first-grade curriculum. I hope your child continues to gain a love of learning, self-confidence and the academic skills that form a foundation for continued success.

    This will be my third year teaching first grade. Before transferring to first, I taught third grade for six years.  I have been married for a few years now and have a little girl who is one year old!

    First grade is a very important year in your child’s learning, and they can make huge growth! I really encourage you to read with your child every day and work with them to be the best they can be in school. You will find I have high expectations for your child and want the best for them. While academics are certainly important, we will also work on building character each and every day! I cannot wait to meet you and your child!
