Welcome to First Grade in room 26 (18B)! We are looking forward to a fantastic school year! Our classroom consists of myself, Ms. Licata (our wonderful assistant), our fantastic 6 students and you (our student's families)! I have been teaching for a number of years in the Buffalo Public Schools. I am a mom of 3 boys. I am well aware of challenges that occur at home and school. Ms. Licata has experience with people who have challenges learning. In addition, she is very family oriented. Our many experiences assist us in looking at the whole child. We have many diverse experiences that help us make our classroom an enjoyable learning environment! We will do our best to make the learning at home and school easy for you and your child.We are really excited to have a link between home and school! We will be placing many useful tools on the web page to help you know what we are doing on a regular basis. Hopefully, this website will help to keep you informed on a variety of topics important to your child's educational development. There will be classroom newsletters. There will be links to computer activities that will benefit your child's learning. Hopefully you will find this site helpful. If you have any comments or concerns please feel free to contact me!
