  • Child Abduction Prevention

    The Buffalo Public Schools is committed to child safety.  Our schools are taking a proactive role by providing the Kidsmartz Curriculum to students.  Kidsmartz is a child safety program that empowers students in grades K-5 to practice safer behaviors and educates families about preventing abduction.  The following link offers resources to help parents, caregivers and teachers protect their children and reinforces the practice of safer behaviors: https://www.kidsmartz.org


     

    On-Line Safety

    The Buffalo Public Schools is committed to teaching children about on-line safety.  Schools will be using the NetSmartz Workshop, an educational program that teaches children ages 5-17 about online safety and digital citizenship.  Parents, caregivers and teachers can find free resources to help children become responsible digital citizens by going to the following link: https://www.missingkids.org/NetSmartz
