Greetings!

Welcome to my website!

My name is Mrs. Rubie Carlis-McKelvey and I am a School Psychologist currently assigned to the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.  My undergraduate and graduate work was completed at the University of Buffalo. "GO BULLS!!"  My clinical training occurred at the Lewiston Porter School District in Niagara county.  I also completed practicum placements at Transit Middle School in Williamsville and Bennett High School.  I am originally from Wichita, Kansas and attended Wichita State University prior to transferring to UB when my husband was accepted at UB's Law School. 

I absolutely love what I do! Working with children is my "calling" and it is an honor and a privilege to engage with students and families in this district.  Parents....please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns about your child's learning style, behavior or personal development.
