PARENTS/STUDENTS PLEASE NOTE:

You received a copy of the course syllabus in the beginning of the year and signed that you read and understood its contents.  As stated in the syllabus: "Because you are provided ample time to complete your work, late assignments will not be accepted.  The only exceptions to this policy are medical emergencies requiring a doctor's treatment or a death in the family, both of which will require proper documentation."

For parents using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to check grades, please be aware that any assignment marked with an "M" is an assignment that was not turned in on the due date.  Any assignment marked with an "M" will not be accepted as per my policy on late assignments. Assignments will not be accepted for reduced-credit, and extra-credit assignments will not be provided.

REQUIRED SUPPLIES FOR ALL ENGLISH COURSES:

1 – 2" 3-ring binder – to be used for English class ONLY

1 – pack of 5-tab dividers

1 – two-pocket folder

college ruled loose-leaf paper - work submitted on spiral bound paper will not be accepted

green, yellow, and pink highlighters

BLUE or BLACK ink pens – no other colored ink will be accepted

access to Microsoft Word and a dictionary (hard copy or electronic)

NO spiral notebooks
