Emerson School of Hospitality integrates rigorous academics with relevant career and technical skills, as well as workplace attitudes and behaviors.
The programs include interactive learning activities, hands-on training, and real world experiences.
In our unique Hospitality Program, students operate a Restaurant and Banquet Facility that serves the busy downtown Buffalo lunch crowd. Banquets are frequently scheduled within the schools banquet and meeting rooms.
Most importantly, Emerson’s students are well prepared to meet New York State’s Regents standards and future college challenges.

Emerson offers paid Summer Youth employment opportunities in the restaurant for their students.Admissions Admissions Process
For the 2018-2019 academic year, Emerson accepted 130 incoming freshman. For the 2018-19 academic year, 130 students will be accepted into the freshman class.
Entrance into Emerson School of Hospitality requires the Comprehensive High School Choice Applications.
Emerson considers:
- NYS assessment scores.
- 85% academic average.
- Students with superior recommendations from teachers.
- Good attendance record.
- Doctor’s clearance for food allergies
