2020-2021 Office of Parent and Family Engagement Growth Plan

  • The 20-21 Office of Parent and Family Engagement Growth Plan is a fluid document that outlines the department's goals which are aligned to the Education Bargain and supports BPS Student Success Indicators. Each goal is accompanied by corresponding action steps.

Each quarter, the Office of Parent and Family Engagement proudly convenes with the District Comprehensive Improvement Plan (DCIP-Priority 5) and Parent Engagement Advisory Committee (PEAC), representative of BPS staff, parents, caregivers, and community stakeholders to review Growth Plan progress and offer constructive feedback. The following color-coded mechanism is used to reflect the current progress of each action item:

      • Red         Not yet started
      • Yellow      In progress or ongoing
      • Green      On track

Special thanks to all parents, community, and BPS staff who actively contributed toward the 2020-2021 Growth Plan development, provided feedback during the quarterly progress-monitoring meetings, and also shared perspectives and ideas for consideration of the 2021-2022 District Comprehensive Improvement Plan -- Priority 5 Parent and Family Engagement.
