Buffalo Public School’s English and Reading Department
McKinley High School’s English Language Arts department offers rigorous and challenging courses designed not only to meet but to exceed the state standards. There are a number of courses and tutoring opportunities offered to assist struggling students and to provide students at benchmark exceed and advance their skills. Courses include not only English I through 4, but also the intensive Language! program, Advanced Placement Language and Composition, and Advanced Placement Literature and Composition. The Advanced Placement courses are taught by skilled instructors and allow students the opportunity to earn college level credits.
