The last day of After School Programming for the 2019-2020 school year is May 21, 2019.
Applications will go home in student take home folders on September 6, 2019.
Applications are due back Sepetmber 13, 2019.
Parents will be notified in writing if their child has been accepted (via lottery) by September 18, 2019.
About Our Program
Extended Learning Time gives North Park students an opportunity to enrich their school experience with academic support, social development, and activities that cultivate new interests and skills. In this way, we help students enhance their mental, physical and emotional potential and open the door to more confidence in learning and embracing good citizenship.

Mindfulness is a practice of paying attention to the present moment on purpose with kindness and curiosity. Mindfulness practices can help students to increase their ability to regulate emotions, increase focus, and decrease stress, anxiety, and depression.

During sports club students will participate in different tag games, cooperative games, fitness games, and exploration of different sports. Basically I will try to make the after school program for 50 an extension of PE during the day.

Come join the fiesta! We’ll learn Spanish and about the cultures associated with it. Greetings, colors, numbers, and opposites are some of the topics we’ll cover through song, dance and lots of movement.

Our Super Scientists will participate in hands-on activities and experiments. The focus of this group will be on making observations, predictions and acquiring new Science related vocabulary.

This club will focus on specific student interests. We will learn about, research and explore different animals/elements of science. We will do individual projects, partner projects, and group projects, experiments, and presentations.

This is a drama club with art elements. We will practice and perform plays, but do arts and crafts to make our own props. Plays will be based on student interest!
