    About Our Program

    The extended day program at Lovejoy Discovery School PS 43 is an extension of our school day serving students from grades K-8.  The primary focus is to support academic achievement and to enrich the curriculum through social interaction with our community partners.




    Weekly Schedule
    Day Hours Programming
    MONDAY  

    3:10pm-5:10pm

    		  

    Students will have two session each afternoon.  The will work on academics, utilizing the tutors to help them in areas of Math, ELA, Social Studies and Science.  Students will also have an opportunity to engage in health & wellness and positive youth development activities daily. 
    TUESDAY  

    3:10pm-5:10pm

    		  

    Students will have two session each afternoon.  The will work on academics, utilizing the tutors to help them in areas of Math, ELA, Social Studies and Science.  Students will also have an opportunity to engage in health & wellness and positive youth development activities daily. 
    WEDNESDAY
