Important Updates from the Crisis Prevention and Response Team

  • As we navigate this uncertain and challenging situation, the district's primary focus continues to be assuring the needs of its students and families are being met. Considering our inability to provide this information in person, the Crisis Prevention and Response Team has developed the following presentations to serve as a guide through this difficult and stressful time.

Please click each link below to review the presentations for specific information in regards to coping skills, self-care practices, and dealing with grief and loss (note: there is a voice recording over each presentation - click the three dots in the bottom right corner of each slide and then click "play" to hear the recording).

If you or your family are continuing to struggle and require professional help, the BPS Office of Student Supports has compiled the following information and resources to provide further assistance:

    • BPS 24/7 Helpline at (716) 816-7100
    • Community Resource Guide - a listing of local organizations that are available during the COVID pandemic that can provide specific assistance in terms of housing, food, clothing, mental health, education, legal services, childcare, financial assistance, addiction, religious services, and youth services
    • Please refer to our resources page for a complete list of resources in your community
    • BPS COVID-19 Updates Page

We wish you all the best and hope you are staying safe and healthy!
