Mrs. Tracie Batcho

Teaching is my second career. After being in Business Management for approximately 15 years, where I worked in Office Management, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Restaurant and Banquet Management, Information Technology, and General Management; I wanted to make a difference with teenagers and their employability and work skills. I was able to use this experience with my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration to successfully achieved my Post-Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business Education.

I started teaching in 2005, at East Lincoln High School in Lincolnton, NC. I taught numerous business courses, as well as coaching their Varsity Softball team for three years before moving back to Buffalo. Since 2008 I have been employed by Buffalo Public Schools. Starting in the fall of 2008, I am certified and/or have instructed the following courses within this district: Career and Financial Management, Business Computer Applications, Marketing, Business Law, Accounting, Web Design, Entrepreneurship, Virtual Enterprise, Internship Supervisor, College Prep, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Computer Science Principles A.

Upon starting with Buffalo Schools, I worked in the largest business program, at that time, at Bennett High School for seven years where I Supervised the Advanced Entrepreneurship Program; then I transferred to the International Preparatory School at Grover for 2 years; and them accepted a split position between the City Honors School at Fosdick/Masten Park and Frederick Law Olmsted School at Kensington for two years. In the fall of 2019 I accepted a full-time position at FLO where I am able to assist the students with their career research, personal finance, and computer science skills.
