Welcome to Write Clicks! The Write Clicks project provides the opportunity for students to use technology as a tool to deepen their understanding and demonstrate what they have learned. Students learn how to use iPads as a tool for research, note-taking, collaboration, writing and presenting to their peers. Completed student projects are shared with a much larger audience as they are posted on the Write Clicks Web site. The social studies curriculum provides the content for this program.Year One of the grant (2012-2013) focused on Grade 6. Students learned about Ancient Civilizations in Egypt, China, Greece and Rome while improving their writing skills and ultimately presenting their learning to an audience of their peers. In Year Two of the grant (2013-2014) we will work with Grade 5 classrooms with a focus on American History.
