Welcome to English

Our end goal this year is to PASS the Common Core Regents Examination in English Language Arts (and the AP Language exam for my AP students). It is my job to teach you the skills to master grade-level materials. Passing this exam and course is also a graduation requirement! Exposure to sample examinations and the format of the exam(s) themselves will also help in our preparation, along with implementing the New York State Common Core Leaning Standards. More importantly, we will work together to develop strategies and skills so that each of your may approach the exam(s) with confidence.
