Welcome Students and Parents! 

I have been a music teacher with Buffalo Public Schools since Fall 2015.  Since 2001, I've had experience teaching Instrumental Music/Band at Elementary and High School Levels, Marching Band/Drum Line/Field Shows, Jazz Band, General Music, Hand Chime class and Keyboard Class.  

I have a passion to teach, and learn, about popular music in relation to culture.  Music often reflects the challenges and trials of society. My Music in Our Lives curriculum explores popular music in relation to culture, especially in relation to African American History.   

As a professional musician, I have performed with the American Legion Bands of Tonawanda, Cheektowaga Symphony Orchestra & Clarence Summer Symphony Orchestra.  I have had a flute studio for over 20 years and enjoy teaching privately.  

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy camping and the outdoors, shooting pool, the beach and spending time with my family.
