Welcome! My name is Mr. Miller and I am excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year! Whether we were together for second grade or you're new to Harvey Austin, we look forward to meeting you and beginning a school year filled with new challenges, experiences, and achievements.

I'm a firm believer in the ‘growth mindset,’ or the belief that all students can learn through dedication and hard work. Through the use of cooperative learning, investigative discovery, hands-on activities, and individualized instruction tailored to the needs of your child, I hope to nurture your child’s continued academic and social-emotional development. I hope to teach your child strategies to help them work independently, how to work cooperatively with their peers, become more organized, and to set high expectations for themselves.
