Oxfam's Global Citizenship Guides
Aimed at teachers in all subjects, and across all age groups, the global citizenship guides introduce the key elements of Oxfam's Curriculum for Global Citizenship, as well as providing case studies outlining best practice in the classroom, activities that can be adapted for use in many curriculum areas, and resources for further reading. -

TeachUNICEF provides educators with global learning resources and programs. TeachUNICEF engages students in an exploration of humanitarian issues and inspires them to take action to improve their world, with a focus on global citizenship and child rights. The site offers global learning resources for grades PreK-12 such as in-person workshops, school-based programming, free web-based lesson plans, videos, multi-media resources and more. Poverty and water and sanitation are examples of topics covered. -

Global Oneness Project
The Global Oneness Project offers free multicultural stories and accompanying lesson plans for high school and college classrooms. They offer a collection of films, photo essays, and articles that explore cultural, social, and environmental issues through a humanistic lens. The curriculum content contains an interdisciplinary approach to learning and facilitates the development of active, critical thinking. Their monthly featured story and accompanying lesson plan could be used as a supplementary material to engage students and provide them with an opportunity to investigate the world beyond their immediate environment. -
Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting
The Pulitzer Center's mission is to spread global awareness and their website seeks to engage young people on relevant international issues. Their journalists regularly visit middle and high school classes to talk about their work around the world. In some cities, including Chicago, Philadelphia, St. Louis and Washington, DC, there are opportunities for in-person visits, and in others they will arrange a Skype talk. The website offers an education scope which is quite vast, including the Global Gateway Program, a Campus Consortium and Student Reporting Fellowships. -
United for Human Rights
United for Human Rights has a Bringing Human Rights to Life Education Package for educators who teach ages 17 and up. The package contains: An Educator's Guide, The Story of Human Rights, a powerful film which defines human rights for anyone, 24 copies of The Story of Human Rights booklet, discussion questions, assignments that require application of theory and glossary of terms, references to print and online resources to be used in the classroom. -
Rock Your World
Rock Your World is a multidimensional, project-based curriculum for middle and high school students that engages them in real-world issues while using digital media to investigate, explore and take action on important causes. It takes a hands-on, collaborative approach to deepen knowledge and provide meaningful application of learned material. This resource can be used to teach students how to take action, from developing a public awareness campaign to producing documentaries. -
International Children's Digital Library
International Children’s Digital Library Foundation supports students in becoming effective members of the global community by making children’s literature from around the world available online for free. Different themes can be explored across cultures through use of various texts in the classroom. -

World Savvy
World Savvy partners with educators, schools, and districts to integrate global competence teaching and learning into classrooms for all middle and high school students. Their mission is to educate and engage youth to learn, work, and thrive as responsible global citizens. The World Savvy Classrooms initiative offers thematic interdisciplinary projects aligned with Common Core Standards. The theme for 2015-2016 is Population and Progress. -
Radical Math
Radical math is a resource for teachers who are interested in integrating issues of social and economic justice into their math classes. There are over 700 lesson plans as well as articles, charts, graphs, books and websites to help bring these issues to the classroom. -
Teach Global Ambassadors
The Teach Global Ambassadors project worked with Secondary school teachers in Scotland and Lithuania to develop leaders of global learning who went on to support the development of Global Citizenship in their schools. The website contains the many resources the project created including lesson plans and materials. -
Science Debate Kits
The Science Debate Kits contain downloaded cards with relevant issues that students can use to develop discussion skills around scientific issues, explore the limitations of science and the potential ethical questions surrounding it. -

Generation Global
