State Champ Football Parade & Celebration

You're Invited!

Please join us to celebrate our Bennett Tigers' State Championship victory on Thursday December 22, 2022.  The parade will begin at LJ Bennett High School and make its way downtown for a celebration on the steps of City Hall with the team, coaches, and community!  The presentation will begin at 11:15am at City Hall.

Lewis J. Bennett Football State Championship Parade - Itinerary

Thursday, December 22, 2022

9:30 AM Assemble at Lewis J Bennett HS - decorate the vehicles and line up vehicles starting on campus parking lot facing Main St. and looping around Hill St. and Mercer St. The Five student buses will line up first on campus facing West. The only vehicles in the parking lot will be the buses. All other vehicles will be parked on Hill Street with the first car being on Hill and the end of the parking lot and looping around the remainder of Hill Street, to Mercer Street, then to Main Street. Students will be available to decorate personal vehicles if anyone is interested in having their vehicles decorated with liquid chalk markers. This will occur while vehicles are parked on Hill Street and Mercer Street. Students, Parents, Alumni, Coaches, Art Teachers

10:00 AM Board the buses and continue lining up the parade procession (in line up order): Busses 1 & 2 - Football Team/Coaches Bus 3 - Cheerleading Team/Coaches Bus 4, 5 & 6 - Fan busses for Student Body Parents - Personal Cars Alumni - Personal Cars All Stakeholders Chaperones on Fan Buses 10:30 AM Depart Parking to City Hall with a Police escort and Police blocking all intersections for the procession. All Vehicle Drivers

11:00 AM Arrival to Niagara Square. Vehicles will park on the right side along Delaware Ave. Football and Cheer Teams line up on the stairs of City Hall Fan Buses, Parents and Alumni line up on side walk in front of City Hall.  All Stakeholders

11:15 AM Celebration Begins at the top of the steps of City Hall and Speakers Present. 1) Asst.
