The Peace Project: A Buffalo Public Schools & WNED Buffalo/Toronto Youth Art Exhibition
During this time of year, it is important to be mindful of those that are less fortunate, those that are suffering, and those that may not feel loved or cared for. This seems especially so during this unrelenting COVID-19 pandemic.
We remind ourselves that it is important to always be kind, tolerant, compassionate, and open to love and happiness in all its wonderful forms.
This exhibition celebrates all that is good about humanity and the world that we share and brings notice to those things we hope to change.
To that end, we PreK- 12 the grade students to express what peace means to them through the visual arts, dance, and theatre. This year, we received only visual art submissions.
Congratulations to the youth artists that participated from: School 48 @ MLK, School #79 Grabiarz School of Excellence, School #81 Community School, School #94 West. Hertel, School #198 International Preparatory School, and School #212 Leonardo da Vinci HS.
We hope you enjoy our virtual awards reception!
Thanks to Beth Fronckowiak, Heather Hare, Dallas Taylor, and the entire WNED Buffalo/Toronto for all their continued support!
