Riverside CTE Students Attend Roswell Park Mentoring Day
On October 30th, 9 students from Riverside High School’s Graphic Communications class attended a special event held at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. These students are part of the Career and Technical Education department and traveled to the hospital to attend the first ever Mentoring Day.
The students had the opportunity to visit different departments within Roswell Park and learn about the many occupations available at the hospital. Examples of the departments visited are Pathology, Public Safety, Marketing, Assessment of Treatment, and Nursing. The students in attendance gained valuable experience and spent the day considering their future careers.
