Worker's Compensation for Public Employees



Effective July 1, 2019, the District has retained a new third party administrator (TPA) for Workers’ Compensation benefits, the PMA Group.  As such, we are required to update our notification to injured workers of their rights under the law.  This notification must include the name of our new TPA.   


The Benefits Office is asking that you immediately take down our previous notice of compliance and post the attached notice conspicuously on your bulletin boards/notification board for employee’s review.  Failure to comply with this notification subjects the District to a $250 penalty by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board for each location the notice is not posted.  Your assistance in getting this posted to all locations is greatly appreciated!
